2010 Application Fees:

Producer fees vary from $650-1200, depending on the state you live in, if you are certifying livestock, have an on-farm handling operation, etc. Please consult the appropriate link above for more information.
Processor/handler fees are $500-2500, based on the size of the operation, with inspection fees and expenses billed separately after your inspection. These inspector fees can be anywhere from $250-1,000+ depending on the size and complexity of your operation.
Expedited service is available to all applicants for $300.

2010 Application Deadlines:

New applicants must submit their applications by May 15, 2010, with a late penalty fee of $100 if postmarked between May 16 and June 15, 2010. No new applicants will be accepted after June 15th.
All other growers must submit their applications by June 15, 2010, with a late penalty fee of $100 if postmarked between June 16 and July 15, 2010. July 15th is the final deadline for renewal applications this year. You must submit an OSP annually to remain certified.
Applications are accepted year-round for processor/handlers, all-year greenhouses, and maple syrup operations.
