Join grafting expert and apple enthusiast Derek Mills (he has 600+ cultivars) and learn how to graft your own apple trees! Since every apple tree produces a new kind of fruit, people’s favorite varieties are the result of splicing branches from the original tree onto a vigorous, disease-resistant rootstock.
Your $10 class and materials fee covers the cost of 1 root stock and scion, with the option to purchase more for a small fee. Participants are asked to bring their own utility knife for grafting.
Beverages and cookies will be provided at this workshop.
A Raccoon Creek Partnership and CFI Partnership ($5 for CFI Members, $10 for non-members) |
