Attendees will learn safe, simple and effective methods to start their own home composting program in this FREE workshop. All are welcome!
Please invite others you think might be interested. This workshop is sponsored by Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, Worthington Department of Public Service and Sustainable Worthington.
Backyard composting can be the most economical and environmental way to manage organic materials produced at home. Composting is one of the
oldest, easiest and "greenest" methods of recycling! While saving landfill space, you can use one of Mother Nature's best ways to reduce and reuse.
Material that would normal go into your garbage can go into the compost bin producing nutrient rich soil amendments for use in your garden, and all for free! Using compost helps improve any soil type, and produces healthier plants requiring less water, fertilizer and thus helps keep harmful
pollutants out of our local waterways. |
