Description
We have a small certified organic CSA, we work with other organic farms selling produce online at www.csafarmersmarket.com and we also we go to market. We grow a large variety of vegetables and graze our cattle. Interns have high speed Internet and stay in fully equipped travel trailers, or they can camp on the farm. Food is provided. Interns without transportation can be picked up at the airport, train or bus station. Stipends are available to longer term, qualified interns. Bikes are available so they can travel to nearby towns, and a bus can stop by the farm to take interns elsewhere. The farm and local area have trails good for hiking and bicycling. There are small town events and activities that occur throughout the summer.
